Make sure you wash your car for Dec 21/2012 haha

I must admit, I have done nothing to prepare for doomsday (even though I always told myself I would be the most prepared with my own underground storage bunker and life supply of food and other things). In my last attempt to prepare for doomsday (if something should actually happen); I have broken out my garden hose with the current temperature sitting at just +3 Celsius with some light rain. Thats right my friends, I am going to wash my car (for the first time in a month).

It will not stay clean for long as it is anticipated to chill down between -5 and +3 throughout the week with off and on rain and snow. It is also currently lightly raining, which should aid in my car wash as I have very hard water (and the water that comes out of the hose is even harder (it looks like im spraying soap)). So hopefully the rainwater will help dilute the hardness.

Unfortuantely though because its raining, I will be unable to apply my waterless wax system which is really what I want to apply (for extra protection through the winter).

Well, back on topic. Today is December 18 (my B-day was 2 days ago ) and that means there is only 3 days left for everyone to get there car washed so it looks good for when it all goes down.

Though hopefully it doesn't go down, because we would not be able to vote for Decembers Car of the Month, which would be bad


Note: For the record, I do not believe that the world will end (like it blowing up, or mass volcanic eruptions, etc). but I am open to the possibility of there being a change in the way of "life as we know it". Could be something like an epidemic of diseases breaking out, or the economy crashing, or even worse fuel prices rising higher.

All I know is, ....Im going to wash my car lol

I won't be washing my car, but honestly I'm gonna forget all about it and just do the normal thing. Including putting up the December contest!

I don't think anything will happen, if anything, some stupid people are gonna try and pull stunts to get attention or make it seem like the world is ending. lol.

Well, mines all washed. Pics will have to wait as I am going to attempt a solo photoshoot in the rain with out getting dirty.

Thats a given, I guarantee someone will try to pull something stupid looking for attention.

Im not expecting anything extreme to happen.

Funny thing is thats not meant to be the end of the world its just the end of that calender the Aztec's or Myans have another 1 after this

I just washed my car this morning actually.....but that is because a bat took an elephant-sized dump on the bonnet overnight...that and the car had been sitting in the driveway for 2 weeks whilst I was on my honeymoon, so it was covered in crap and spiderwebs

all i can say is bring it on and ha ha to all the people that have sold all that they own

So true. I actually knew that having just watched an entire series all about it on the National Geographic channel. I believe they claimed that the end of the Myans calendar, begins a new cycle in life. They didn't say whether it would be a good change or a bad change.

To be honest, im not too woried about it. Just thought Id post up some interesting conversation

Wow, a bat? cant say that my car has ever suffered being pooed on by a bat (not that I know of anyway). Congrats on the honeymoon too. Glad to hear you washed your car

Thats the spirit! and I also feel sorry for all the families that have purchased these $50,000 to $75,000 underground personal bunkers. Such a waste of money. What if the world really did suffer a catastrophic Apocalypse, and you somehow did survive in your bunker. What would you do after...Plus Im pretty sure theres no warrenty or refunds on those things lol...

We have big problems with bats around Newcastle and the Hunter Valley, especially in summer (you see big swarms of them flying overhead at sundown, and there are some parks which are infested with them. We've got a date-palm right out the front of our house and the bats love to come and pick at the fruit, as do the birds, and the possums, and the....

Im not sure whats worse, that, or parking underneath a maple tree (which drips sticky sap) lol
