Sweet! Thanks mate. Gotta come and see you about the A/C sometime so if we can kill two birds with one stone it would work out well. I'd reward you for your time and help of course

I read that the 4A-FE and 4A-GE brake boosters were the same, but by looking at them the 4A-GE version definitely looks beefier. Might do it at the same time as the twinpot swap if it's easy enough

i think its bigger to keep the pressure stable with bigger brakes Ohh yep, I noticed the 4A-GE ones have a lot more vacuum lines too (the metal line going along the firewall to the intake side). Wouldn't mind having that set-up as my Blacktop has a couple of the vacuum ports blocked off right now as the 5A-FE brake booster didn't utilize them.

| the metal line is a one way valve to keep the pressure equal and constant as it takes vacuum from 2 of the throttles | |

Na mine will probably take longer than that, lol. Got a whole bunch of parts to install so have to prioritize a bit. Still have to order my 275mm rotors . Hoping to get the FGK header fitted first.

| As far as I know 2004 D4D corolla discs are a near perfect fit.
A guy in Ireland is running st202 carriers and brakes on the corolla hub with this setup.

Ohhh. I was reading on some sites that they're 275mm but also 25mm, so we'd be in the same boat, lol.

| Can someone confirm this for me before I start ordering parts: I am looking to put twin pots onto my mcpherson hub ae100 Corolla. If I use the ST202 calipers and carriers I can use a 275mm disc? If I use the ae101/111 calipers and carriers I can use a 255mm disc? Right or wrong? Here's is what a guy in Ireland is using on his ee111 Corolla Beams Time Attack car. Celica twin pots, Disk is from a 1.4 , d4d 2004 corolla . Vented 255mm x 25mm thick . | |

Yes ST202 carriers (3sge model)with 275mm disc Yes AE101/111 carriers No 255mm disc, they need to be 260mm although some will argue this, I have seen enough of this set up now with my own eyes 260mm will give you the clearance needed over the pads. iirc the cailpers are the same

| the st202 carriers need modding to fit, the bracket needs to be grinded down to make it fit.
you can use 275mm discs with this setup
the ae111 levin carriers need the bracket modding to fit also, but not as hard as the st202 carriers
you can use 255mm discs with this setup (im using stock 1993 corolla discs)
