| Thanks Aaron! Yeah that new lip went into the attic lol. It's more subtle, but I got it because it's been long discontinued, and it's super rare. An impulse buy lol.
I love the wheel fitment, just not entirely set on the color yet. I was hoping that they'd be more of a stock silver color. Oh well.
Yeah DIY feels good!! All of these stereo parts were installed when I first got the car, they all came out of the Corolla back when I was pinching pennies lol. Time for a real setup!

| Yeah honestly I've just been unmotivated and lazy about it!
I got all the sound system installed yesterday, but I have some troubleshooting to do before it is working right.

| Here are the rest of the pictures from the work I did over the weekend. Mounted the new sub and amp and hooked everything up Put everything back together, looks very clean! And I've got my entire trunk space back! I had to mount the strut bar off center, but it is what it is. I suppose you can see the 5000k LEDs as well, never took a pic of them before. Back up front, I installed the "carbon-fiber" TRD decal. I actually like this a lot, more than I thought I would. While I was at it, I put in a bunch of #74 LEDs in the indicators. 4 blue ones in all the green lights (and one in the high beam spot) and 4 red LEDs. And over to the middle, everything is cleanly installed. ScanguageII up top, and Avic D3 below. Driving mode at night: Everything works great! Well except for the sub, it barely puts out any sound for some reason. Otherwise, the stereo sounds MUCH nicer with this harness and headunit, and even gets a lot louder. Sounds OEM again. The Scanguage is cool as well. I still need to read the manual for the Pioneer, but so far, it's like a dream come true after using the old POS for so long lol. | |

| Wow Chris am very impress. Love those new wheels you have and the width, gives a more aggressive and muscular stance great job bro. Also i commend you on the work you did to the sterio and how cleanly everything is put back into place, really like your ride and the mods your doing to it. Can the amp be repaired or you going to change and upgrade with another amp? | |

| One of the many cool things about the Avic D3 is I can put my own screen images! So I made and uploaded a few. This is my startup screen: I also made this one, but it's just "flat" white, the one above has a 3D look to it and fills up the screen better: So I didn't use that for anything. But I also made this one: But I didn't really like it as the startup screen, so I made it the background for the normal operations instead. Pretty cool! I love it lol. | |

| Yeah, it's amazing how much nicer a REAL brand of stereo is... and it can fit in any car. I imagine the newest ones these days are even more incredible. | |

| I did this "mod" for no real reason, just because it was free. I've never been a fan of fake carbon fiber vinyl, but I had never tried it, so I figured why not. I figured that I could spray a clear coat over the vinyl and make it look more realistic, or at least glossy, but for some reason, the clear made the pattern look really dark. Not exactly what I wanted, but it looks more subtle, which is good. Vinyl installed, two parts are cleared and the other aren't, so you can see the difference. Finished! They came out pretty well actually. | |

| I got some LEDs in over the weekend. The 7440 came from Ebay, and the rest from autolumination.com. It seems everyone raves about these projector-style reverse lights, and since my tail lights were perfect for them, I figured why not have a go. I got these because they have lots of bright LEDs around the side to light up the reflectors, and the bulbs themselves look nice enough (since they will be plainly visible). Installed... you can see the V-LED Tritons in the signals: Well, I am definitely not impressed. They are nowhere near as bright, even with the LEDs in the reflectors. So much for being able to see when I back up.... they are 6000k color. The #194 and #24 from that picture up there went into the gauges. One of the A bulbs did as well, it's a red LED for the door open indicator, since it wasn't a #74 like the rest of them for some reason. For some reason, the #194 are 6000k, and the #24 are 5000k. Oh well. They light up the gauges pretty evenly... the 20 MPH is a little darker, but whatever. The LEDs are a little brighter than stock, but not too bright to be annoying. Just right! Here they are compared to the rest of the lighting... makes it look rather dull. I also put one of the white #74s (they are also 6000k) in the glovebox. I'll finish the rest of the LEDs tomorrow... it means taking apart the whole center console again. | |
