| Alright, so my car has been sitting for about 5 days. The only thing I have done differently was add a fusetap to the fuse for my dome light in the engine bay and run wiring to some LEDs in my car. I have not started the car since. This kinda fusetap. There were too many LEDs to power so I disconnected the fusetap from the fuse and left the wire, not connected to any power, in the engine bay. I did not start the car or anything, the dome light was still working, etc. I then left the car for a day, yesterday, while I was painting my bumper, and did not go in it or anything. I went into my car today and connected my LEDs to my switch and then to my fusetap, and I flipped the switch, which should have gave power to the LEDs, but there was nothing. I turned my car to ACC, nothing, so I went to start it and it cranked, but did not fire. I took the fusetap off and put the fuse back in. I noticed the dome light wasn't on when my door was open, neither was the trunk light. I wiggled the fuse around a bit and the light would occasionally come on. I looked and the piece the fuse fits in looks like it was pushed, or stretched, a bit. So I put the fuse tap back on the fuse and put it in, with nothing attached to it, and the dome light came on, so I went to crank the car, and it wouldn't start. I put the key on ACC and everything works fine, all the electronics, my headlights, etc. my heating works too. I went to start the car and it cranks, and sounds like it wants to start, but does not fire. I feel like a noob, but I need help. I am thinking I should borrow my brothers spark tester. My car also has more than half a tank of gas, so it's not a gas problem. | |
