| First rule when it comes to getting coilovers is: DON'T BUY CHEAP NO BRAND EBAY COILOVERS!  lol with that being said, you want to get coilovers with spring rates that will suit you. From what I've seen, anything from 3-6k front and 2.5-4k rear is suitable for daily driving for our corollas. Beyond that, I'm not sure. I know Ishaq and Scott can chime in and give you some input on their experience with their BC coilovers. I have KW Variant 1 coilovers from a 98-02 Corolla. 5k front and progressive springs rear. Perfect for me. | |

| Not much out there for SuperStrut in the way of coilovers, except Tein and TRD (which are now discontinued). A guy here in NZ is going to be selling a mint set of Tein SS coilovers soon, but he wants about $2000 NZD for them. | |

They're only for McPherson strut unfortunately. You literally only have a couple of options for SuperStrut coilovers as SuperStrut suspension is so uncommon and were only available from Japan that there literally isn't a market for them as far as the mainstream coilover manufacturers are concerned. A lot of people do a conversion from SuperStrut suspension to McPherson strut suspension as it gives them more choice for suspension components and parts are MUCH cheaper to replace when they wear out (if you've ever had to replace a SuperStrut shock or arm you'll know what I mean). | |

| It's a different sort of suspension that some of the JDM sports models (FXGT, Levin/Trueno, Celica) got as an option, it's still strut-based but the lower geometry is completely different. Supposedly makes it handle better but by now most of them are probably so flogged out that you wouldn't notice the difference, but since it is a lot more expensive to repair/replace it often gets ditched for the lower-spec Macpherson strut setup  | |

| ^ What he said  . Also worth noting that SuperStrut is only for the front suspension. The rear end still uses the traditional McPherson strut suspension. All of the AE101 Levin/Trueno GT-Z (supercharged) models had Superstrut from factory, whereas only certain AE101 FX-GT's and Levin/Trueno GT Apex models had it. The 4-spoke Momo/Toyota steering wheel came factory with models that had SuperStrut suspension. They also came with the huge 275mm front disc brakes and twinpot calipers too. Yep, those are them. That photo was taken when they were brand new though, but they're only a year old and have only done 5,000km so will be in almost the same condition as the photos. | |

Nah they're not mine mate. They belong to a guy I know who recently bought a BZ Touring wagon and no longer owns the car the coilovers were for. I've asked what his lowest price would be so I'll put you in touch with him. | |

| Super-strut coilovers can now be bought directly here in Ireland. They are made by BC-Racing and a few of my friends are using them with great reviews. They work out at €850.
