what size of pipe should i use?

recently converted my corolla from 1.3 xl to 3sge , what size of tube should i use from the engine to the muffler is it 1 and 3/4th or 2"? which is better

wouldnt think it will any differece between 1 3/4 or 2 inch mate do you no what size they use standard?

2" would be a lot better, although I'd recommend going slightly bigger and using 2.25". 1.75" is the stock Corolla piping size and will be far too small for the 3S-GE engine.

i think the standard size is 2" but what my mechanic said was it would be a lot better to put 1.75' pipe to maximize the power of the engine . is this true and will it make any difference?
