Bridgy's not so DUB V-DUB Empty
PostSubject: Bridgy's not so DUB V-DUB   Bridgy's not so DUB V-DUB EmptyThu Feb 28, 2013 8:59 am

This is the mean machine i have just bought. I bought this as i need a car with somewhere to keep my big dogs and a few other reasons which i will share will you another time. It is a 2000 Volkswagon polo estate, 1.6 petrol, manual it is not what i would call my dream car and i got as a case of more need than want. As some of you may know i was after a Ae101 wagon but i wasn't successful in my search and had ran out of time so had to buy this.

I am going to do some minor changes to this car just to make it my own. I don't want to spend much money on it as i'm using any spare money on the corolla build. Heres some pics

I think its leaning a bit far to being an alignment.
Possibly a bent strut or suspension arm??

the reason its sitting like that is because if i recall correctly suspension on these polos have alot of travel so perhaps when it was jacked up it was dropped down to quick and they did not let the wheel camber back out correctly try jacking it up and then letting it down slowly if that does not work it has something broken most likely a brace ect but that's not a alignment problem its way to out of the normal

I had a quick look at all the parts and can's see any damage. I have tried the jack up and genltle let down and doesn't seem to have changed.

Thanks for your ideas guys. I might have to strip it all down and build it up from scratch, see if theres any damage that way.
